Warehouse Operations
Training for Picker/Packers
This course will prepare students for entry-level
careers such as: Order Picker or Packer. Breakdown by
hours:
General Industry OSHA – An overview of the basic OSHA
safety standards is presented in this compact two-day
format. The class teaches vital safety and health
information to all personnel responsible for a safe
working environment on the job site. Those attending
will better understand OSHA’s role in industry. After
completing the required ten hours, participants will
receive the OSHA Certification Card.
Drive Time – Participants will learn how to operate,
inspect, and select items for a particular order
utilizing a Walkie Rider. Successful completion of the
program will earn the attendee a Joliet Junior College
Certificate of Completion for the Warehouse Operations
Training Program for Picker/Packers.
